Sindh Tourism Development Corporation (STDC), a Public Sector Company, functioning under the administrative control of the Culture, Tourism, Antiquities and Archives Department, Government of Sindh, is looking for a full-time Managing Director (MD) to lead the organization during the exciting time of growth of tourism industry in Sindh and Pakistan.

The individual should be experienced in managing a fast-paced organization, have strong leadership and coordination skills, and have exposure to destination marketing. He/she should be passionate regarding the province’s tourism potential and related tourism opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

Pakistani citizens with a maximum age of 68 years as of the closing date for submission of applications. A postgraduate or higher degree in management/public administration/hospitality/economics or any related field from an HEC-recognized university with a minimum of 20 years of professional experience preferably in the public sector.

Strong knowledge of the tourism destinations and potential in the Sindh province and of national/international stakeholders, Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle and coordinate multiple projects, Strong communication skills across all levels, Must be proficient in computer and the ability to work in a tech savvy environment, In-depth knowledge of project management, and financial management in the public sector.

Pay Package & Contract:

Appropriate market-based remuneration package commensurate with experience, and as approved by the board of STDC, will be offered. The appointment will be made purely on merit and on a contract basis for a maximum period of three years.
